Mother's Day in Jeopardy
By
May 2010
As
we prepare to honor the women God has chosen to rear and nurture us, plans are
in the works to ratify a United Nations treaty that would undermine and demean
the traditional role of women. The Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of
Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) could come before the Democrat-led U.S.
Senate for ratification in the near future. That treaty, which requires all
signatory nations to eliminate stereotypical gender roles at all levels, is best
known for reprimanding Belarus for celebrating Mother's Day. Sheri Rendall,
CWA's Director of Legislation and Public Policy, spoke with Rep. Doug Lamborn,
R-Colorado, on what you can do to keep this powerful weapon out of the hands of
radical social feminists who want to dictate not only federal policy, but your
family's lifestyle as well. Listen | Download
