Dear Friends,

President Obama and Senator Harry Reid (D-Nevada) are set to give Americans the biggest Christmas present ever - government takeover of our health system regardless of what Americans want.

In a Quinnipiac poll released today, 53% of Americans oppose the Reid-Obama plan.

And, instead of this process being real reform that Americans can support, it has been done stealthily in the dead of the night because Sen. Reid has been shamelessly bribing his fellow Democrats to vote for this deal.

Senator Ben Nelson (D-Nebraska) was able to ensure that Nebraska could expand Medicaid without paying for it. He was also able to guarantee that insurance companies in his state are off the hook from new the bill's new taxes.

Another Senator (in Connecticut) got $100 million for a medical facility at the only public university in his state.

And Americans - what do we get? Government-funded abortions, marriage penalties, health care rationing and the government forcing us to buy health insurance we may not want or need.

As Minority Leader, Senator Mitch McConnell said, "There's good news - it's not too late. All it takes is one. Just one [Senator.] One can stop it - or everyone will own it."

Act Now:

Please call your Senators today at 202-224-3121. If the phone lines are busy - please do not give up. You can click here to find out the phone numbers for your Senators' district offices. If we do not find one Democrat Senator to oppose this bill, we will be taking Reid's bad medicine for a very long time!

Sincerely,

Wendy Wright
