Dear Friends,

President Obama spoke last night to the nation about his plan for a national, government-run health care system. But he still hasn't truthfully answered the question as to whether or not abortion will be funded by the government.

Make no mistake about it; abortion will be funded by the government through the new health care plan. Planned Parenthood and the abortion lobby have been waiting for this day when abortion will be included as part of comprehensive health care reform. They have been waiting for the day when the government will fund abortion because it will be "mandatory."

That day is almost here. If the health care legislation President Obama wants gets passed, abortion providers will get their wish, and the government - using our tax dollars - will fund abortions across the country.

This is why we are launching today the VOID THE ABORTION MANDATE virtual rally and grassroots campaign.

President Obama and every single Member of Congress must continue to hear from YOU, their constituents. Your voice IS getting through! The media has covered town hall meetings all across the country for the entire month of August, and several questions have been asked about whether or not abortion is funded by the government through the current proposals.

We need YOUR help! Since all of you can't be together in the same place for this launch, we are asking you to please use every virtual tool at your disposal to help get the message out.

Here's what you can do:

• Please post our Void the Abortion Mandate logo and sample status messages on your Twitter, Facebook, MySpace and other social networking websites. Download the graphic, and copy the messages at www.StopTheAbortionMandate.com.

• Click on the Voided Check logo at www.StopTheAbortionMandate.com and send a voided check to your elected Representatives. Tell them you don't want the government funding abortion.
