Suggested E-mail Language to Senators Baucus and Grassley
LAC Staff
June 11, 2008

Below is suggested language for your e-mails to Senators Baucus and Grassley.  We have provided links to the web contact forms of each Senator following the text of the letter.

Dear Senator,

As a member of Concerned Women for America (CWA), I am writing today to thank you for including provisions to reauthorize Title V and TMA in the bill to fix Medicare.  It is my sincere hope that you will do everything in your power to ensure these provisions are both included in the final bill that will be voted on by the Senate.

Abstinence education provides valuable life and decision-making skills that lay the foundation for personal responsibility and the development of healthy relationships and marriages later in life.  Numerous studies show clear evidence that abstinent teens have, on average, higher academic achievement and better psychological well-being than those who are sexually active.

Again, thank you for your attention to this important issue.  Please do whatever is in your power to ensure Title V and TMA provisions are included in the final bill that the Senate considers.
