Dear Friends,

The House will take three important votes this afternoon. They will vote on the House Rule (which will not allow any changes to the bill), the Senate health care bill, and the Reconciliation bill which includes changes made by Speaker Pelosi (D-California) yesterday in order to twist arms and likely get her the votes she needed for passage.

Thanks to the efforts of you, and Americans all across the country, Speaker Pelosi will not be able to pass the Senate health care bill without a vote on the actual Senate language. We are hoping that there will be a roll call vote where each Representative will have to state their position on the $1 trillion Senate bill, which will not only be the largest expansion of abortion since Roe v. Wade, but will also tax individuals who refuse to buy insurance they don't want or need.

Concerned Women for America will be on the Hill this afternoon as Congress takes this historic vote to takeover 1/6 of the American economy. Please continue to pray that our elected officials will listen to the majority of Americans that overwhelmingly oppose this bill. Also, please call your Representative now at 202-225-3121 and tell him/her to oppose this massive government takeover of our health care system. Watch for our updates on Twitter and Facebook as the vote happens.

Sincerely,

Penny Nance
Chief Executive Officer
