Dear Friends,

This week the Senate will vote on one of the most radical pro-abortion nominees that Obama has served up: Dawn Johnsen for the position of Assistant Attorney General in the Office of Legal Counsel in the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ).

Dawn Johnsen has dedicated her life to the promotion of abortion without any restrictions. She opposes partial-birth abortion bans which outlaw the gruesome procedure by which a doctor crushes the skull of a baby to kill the child during childbirth.

Dawn Johnsen has a long history of putting abortion "rights" above all laws, including the Constitution. She actually argued in a brief to the Supreme Court that restrictions on abortion are tantamount to "involuntary servitude."

Dawn Johnsen serves as a board member for the American Constitution Society (ACS), which views the Constitution as a document that is subject to interpretation and change. Because of her subjective view of the Constitution, she will likely base her decisions on her personal agendas instead of on what the Constitution and the laws state.

Action: Please call your Senators today at 202-224-3121 and ask them to oppose Dawn Johnsen's nomination. She is a radical activist who puts her radical opinions above the law.

Thank you for your prayers and action,

Wendy Wright
President
