REMINDER: Be sure to call in to your Senators tomorrow, Tuesday, March 8 and demand that they defund Planned Parenthood. We need to light up the phones on Tuesday. See below for more information. This is a critically important time. You can make a real difference by making two simple phones to your two Senators. Carve out 15 minutes from your schedule tomorrow to make those calls! Thank you! Get more information here, www.cwfa.org/defundplannedparenthood.asp. (P.S. Don't forget to sign up for the live Webcast in which Wendy Wright and other national pro-life leaders will talk more about this key issue. It's set for tonight at 9:00 p.m. ET and all you need to do is register at www.exposeplannedparenthood.com. This notice corrects an error in the time of the event listed in our earlier alert. Please forgive any inconvenience).
Dear Friends, Planned Parenthood is throwing down the gauntlet after the House voted overwhelmingly to defund them on February 18. They are waging war against Members of Congress who voted against giving our $363 million to the largest abortion provider in the country! In their recent advertising blitz, Planned Parenthood accuses these Members of Congress of endangering the health of women nationwide. Planned Parenthood is not worried about women's health. If they were, they wouldn't aid and abet so-called pimps who are trying to get abortions for girls, "some who may be younger than 15." Nor would they fail to report instances where young girls were sexually abused, given abortions and placed back into those dangerous situations. And, what Planned Parenthood doesn't advertise, is that a woman entering a Planned Parenthood clinic in 2009 was 42 times more likely to have an abortion than to receive either prenatal care or be referred for adoption. Planned Parenthood is a $1 billion organization that makes an $85 million profit. In today's economic times when families are forced to make tough decisions about their finances, it is morally reprehensible for the federal government to force Americans to subsidize the largest abortion provider in our country. The recent Live Action videos have exposed Planned Parenthood dark underside, now is the time to strike. Act Now: Please help Concerned Women for America Legislative Action Committee members across the country light up the phones on March 8! Visit or call your Senators and urge them to defund Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood is using its significant war chest to batter Members of Congress into submission - it is time they hear from us that we do not want our money to go to an organization that undermines women and puts their lives in danger! Click here to find your legislators and the locations of their offices in Washington D.C. and your state. If you would like to call the switchboard and be transferred to your Senators, please dial 202-224-3121. Blessings,
